Triathalon

Training for the Tri!!! The Kimbal East Stake (Eddie's and my home stake) were putting on a triathalon in 2010. I was able to invite others outside the stake and I ended up inviting the whole "brady bunch"!!! Mom, Dad, Anne, Lee, Clarissa, Kai, me and shelly all participated in this big event. My sister Clarissa and I trained together and went about once or twice a week to the club house pool where the family I nanny for lives and swam laps together. It was good to have a training buddy so that I pushed myself and did not slack off. In the end we all woke up on a cold morning and enjoyed the triathalon together and did well while enjoyed the competition!!

Family Basketball

About once a month my family trys to get together to play basketball. Most of the family enjoys the sport and we all need a good exercise within our busy schedules. Lately I have not been able to schedule any basketball games with the family. We need everyone to make big enough teams and have extra people to watch the grandkids while others are playing. Dad usually takes charge once it gets started and directs everyone on what to do.....typical occurance in the Bennion famiy ;) We usually end up playing about 3-4 games before the young grandkids are ready to have there turn. At that point everyone plays in the gym and we enjoy some kind of dessert together. We also enjoy a good game of speed before the night is over.
